We would like to visit near Asheville in July and rent a lake house. Other than Lake Lure, are there any other lake areas with rentals that are within an hour%26#39;s drive of Asheville, rafting, etc? Thank you for any replies!
Lake Lure Vacation Rental or Other Lake Area near Asheville
Lake James, Fontana Lake, Lake Toxaway, Hartwell Lake, Lake Keowee...some of these are more like 1.25-1.5 hr. Water levels were REALLY low in most of these areas due to our severe drought. Hopefully it will be better in July.
