Just stayed at Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge last night. We should have known when we pulled into the parking lot and only saw two other cars there that something was wrong. Not the best placed I have ever stayed. The pics on the internet are a little misleading. The rooms are s-m-a-l-l!!! The indoor pool is a nice touch, but that doesn%26#39;t make up for the thin walls and the 2:00 in the morning moans of ..... well....we will say adult activity. Guess you can%26#39;t blame that on the lodge, but there were alot of other rooms, why the one next to us?!?!!? Oh, and just an added note, it might be a good idea to take an extra pillow with you. You would be just as well off with a rolled up towel for what you have on the bed.
Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge
I have always liked Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge. I stayed there often while building my vacation home. The new hospitality suite is beautiful and comfortable. The rates are very good. Just because there are only a couple of cars in the parking lot does not always indicate a problem--business is usaully a little slow here in the valley right after the holidays but then picks up gradually again for skiing.
