Rented Red House Vacation Home near Burnsville. House was not clean and hot tub was green with algae. Mice were rampid in the house. Owner was notified after vacation and said there were no mice in the house. Owner was unwilly to give a partial refund. Would not rent again or recommending renting from this owner.

You notified the owner AFTER your departure and asked for a partial refund? Did you read policy of this rental? Does it say if a rental is not to your satisfaction you receive a partial refund?

I understand it must be disappointing to spent your vacation in such place, if this is a case, and definitely owner has many responsibilities. As a renter you have responsibilities too and the first one is to contact the owner immediately when a problem is discovered and not after vacation. Sorry about your unfortunate experiences.
