where to stay?

I need lodging for two couples, with a kitchenette and fireplace for the weekend of thanksgiving. We want a ';mountainy'; feel and surroundings, but close to activities. Does anyone have any advice?

where to stay?

Check out the Chetola Resort.

They have condos that aren%26#39;t part of the main building that have big fireplaces and small, fully functional kitchens. The long driveway to the resort makes you feel like you%26#39;re tucked away in the wilderness, but you%26#39;re really just off of Main Street, and are just seconds away from restaurants, etc.

I%26#39;d recommend the ';Finch'; cottage, but I think it was only one bedroom. It was really nice though.

I highly recommend Sweet Seasons Bed and Breakfast. My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there a few months ago. If you check out their website you will see the different rooms that they have. We actually stayed in their cabin, which was very private. They have several different style rooms, several with a fireplace and one with a hot tub. Sweet Seasons is located very close to town in a secluded, woodsy area with a romantic

stream running thru the front yard. The owner is a great lady and makes a wonderful breakfast each morning. It is part of the Chetola estates, but is privately owned.
