Recently moved to Winston and was looking for really great bars or dance clubs (don%26#39;t know if there are any around). After looking around one weekend, I can%26#39;t really tell where the twenty-something crowd goes. Any info would help out...thanks

Wild Wing Cafe on Hanes Mall Blvd is the place to go right now. Very crowded from 10 pm on Thurs-Sun. Live band, comedy, etc. Mainly 20-30 year olds.

The bars around Burke St. are also very popular. Foothills Brewing on 4th St. can also be fun.

There are some dance clubs but I haven%26#39;t really been to them so I don%26#39;t want to give an opinion

Definitely check out Finnegan%26#39;s Wake on Trade St. and 6th and Vine on 6th, as well as the brewery on 4th street and other restaurants/bars located off 4th. You will find more of a young professional crowd out in downtown W-S as opposed to bars/clubs near the mall and in outer W-S. One word of advice: Burke St. is not very safe to walk at night. There%26#39;s not much on the %26#39;club%26#39; scene here in town; I would recommend Greensboro or even Charlotte for clubs.
