We are flying into Norfolk and would like to rent a jeep during our stay in Corolla - what would this cost and what are the logistics ?

The only car rental agency here (like a national chain) is Enterprise, and I do not know if they have jeeps. In addition to the info above, there is also a Jeep dealer here on the OBX in Kill Devil Hills, and they do have jeeps out with ';rent me'; signs on them during the regular vacation season. I would call them, too 252-441-1146.

Sorry, I should have asked this in my first post, but how are you getting from Norfolk to OBX to begin with? As Norfolk airport probably has a lot of car rental options on site, it may be better to rent the Jeep from one of the agencies there, and then drive down. It is about 1.5 hours from the airport to the OBX, so a cab or limo is very expensive-proably a lot more than a 1 day Jeep rental!! I%26#39;d look into renting at the airport, too.
