Are you talking commercial? If so Norfolk VA is closest. You will have 1.5 hour or less drive. (depending on traffic)

Hi, yes you will fly into norfolk. You can then get a small plane to fly you to obx, a taxi, a limo or rent a car. My friends fly into norfolk then rent a car and drive over.

This was a list of the companies to get you from norfolk to OBX. You can call enterprise about a rental car. They also have car rentals on the Outerbanks if you want to take a charter over then rent a car. Hope this helps!

I think the airport to OBX in a cab would be one expensive ride! A limo company will probably have a set price for you on that route.

My choice would be to rent the car, and drive. There is an Enterprise rent a car in Kill Devil Hills, and they are the only chain/large company that has an office here in the OBX. I would probably rent from them as they are a large chain, and it is the only company that will be able to give you local service, if you needed anything. Noone likes to think about that on vacation, but it%26#39;s better to have a local office than be an hour and a half from your rental company.
