What kind of shops are in Dilworth? I found some store names on superpages.com but it%26#39;s hard to tell what kind of stuff they sell.
Thanks!

Shopping in Dilworth
Well, Katie, Dilworth is sort of an ill-defined area. Stores LOVES to advertise that they are in Dilworth, when the truth is that they may not be actually located there, just nearby. I would think that your best bet would be to start at the intersection of East Boulevard and South Boulevard and work your way on East Boulevard, headed toward Freedom Park. Now a LOT of this ara is residential and commercial (as in law offices, etc.) and not just cute shop after cute shop. There are a few houses right across from the Harris Teeter supermarket on East Blvd. that might be worth looking into. One is an art gallery/showroom, and there is a cottage-style decorating shop there, too. There are some neat shops on South Boulevard, too, in and around Ideal Way. This area can be really confusing and traffic-y, so be careful turning into and out of the road. There is a ';light rail'; train line there now, and I%26#39;m not sure how that affects traffic flow. Also, I would check out Selwyn Avenue, near Colony Road, where there is a fairly new shopping center that has some art galleries and some high-end clothing stores. Also, work your way back to Providence Road, near Panera Bread, where there are a couple of cute shops and art galleries, as well.
As mentioned earlier, if you are not familiar with Charlotte roads, especially in the Myers Park/Dilworth areas, be aware that street names can suddenly change.
Now, if I may plug my favorite ladies clothing store, try B Natural in the Park Road Shopping Center. It%26#39;s sort of in the center of the shopping center near the Blackhawk Hardware (which is a wonderful store with lots more than just hardware!)
Park Road Shopping Center is in that general Dilworth area, and if you are in the East Boulevard area you can get there easily.
Have fun!
Shopping in Dilworth
Previous poster is correct - there%26#39;s no real defined ';Dilworth';. Most people think about the Atherton Mill shops in South End for unique shopping in Dilworth. . It%26#39;s right on South Blvd. It%26#39;s a fun place to look but I%26#39;ve never bought anything there. LOL. Best wishes.
