Need a great lunch spot for tomorrow. Coming in and headed to Spartanburg,SC from the airport. What do you think?

What%26#39;s a great lunch to you? A meal? A sandwich? Let%26#39;s see... you%26#39;ll head out on BGP to I-85 and then south. Lots of chains on the interstate in Gastonia ( 20 minutes form the airport - Ruby Tuesdays, Panera, On the Border, etc...).

The Copal Grill is on Wilkinson Blvd right at the airport. Hootie and the Blowfish made that place famous. It%26#39;s an old dump with good homecooking - run by Greeks ( as the best restaurants in town are!). You can get good southern cooking in there.

Or get off on 321 from I-85 in Gastonia - go south to Airline/Ozark and turn right - down the road is R.O%26#39;s Bar BQ. It%26#39;s a great....and they have curb service.

If it%26#39;s not too late- go on down to Spartanburg and eat at the Beacon!!!!! Now, that%26#39;s worth the wait!!!

Thanks! Ended up at a chain on the way Fatz by the peach water tower off 85 but did have lunch at The Beacon over the weekend. Chili Cheeseburger A-Plenty. Great stuff!
