We%26#39;ll be attending the Wachovia golf championship at Quail Hollow Country Club in April/May and it sounds like there is no place to park so the only transportation there is the Uptown Shuttle.
If we stay outside the downtown area, would it be feasible to hire a taxi? We%26#39;ll have a car but (apparently) no place to park it!
Any insights or suggestions on transportation as well as good hotels would be appreciated.

In the past, they have used outlying parking lots and the tournament ran a shuttle from the parking lots to the tournament. There is no parking at the actual golf course, but they have always made arrangements for parking. I do not know what lots they will be using.

I%26#39;m pretty sure I remember seeing buses leave out of Ballantyne (south of Charlotte). If you stay in that area I am pretty sure there is a park and ride. I would call the Staybridge Suites or Courtyard by Marriott in Ballantyne (think their address in John J. Delaney) and see if they know.
