Duck area and golf

We will be in Duck in the middle of June. I have never been to the area. My shore experience is South Jersey. Could anyone compare? We are also interested in playing golf at least one day. Could anyone suggest golf courses in the area. Thank you

Very different than the boardwalk beaches. Really quiet, and no single place to walk around like those beaches. Comparable to the quietness at Cape May, except more houses in less space. The sand is finer, and the beach is private access in Duck...no public parking.

For golf, try the Currituck Club. Not cheap, but a beautiful course.

Any other golf suggestions?

Visit the Dare County and Currituck County tourism websites. They will have golf courses listed. There are several in the area that are less expensive than Currituck Club.
