It%26#39;s a nice place and in a good location. You can easily walk to the big old Cotton Mill that now has shops and restaurants...as well as stroll along Water and Front Streets.
I seem to remember they having a little pier that goes out to the river as well.

Definitely have a look at the Cotton Exchange, great shops with
a bit of history and charm. Plenty of places to eat within walking
distance. I have lived in Wilmington for fifteen years and highly
recommend eating at ';Deluxe'; or ';Elijahs';.
