Biltmore Christmas Evening ticket worth the extra cost?

I%26#39;m planning my first trip to Biltmore Estate this month for my husband and I and wondering if the extra $10-$20 you pay for the Candlelight Christmas Evening ticket is worth the extra cost over the regular daytime ticket?

Also, I%26#39;m interested in learning some things about the house... is the nighttime visit just about looking at decorations or do you get to learn about the history of the house like you would with the daytime visit?

Thanks!

A few years ago as part of a corporate Christmas party, we toured the house in the evening and then had dinner at the Bistro. I just remember it as being very magical to see the house at night and all the decorations...

One thing to keep in mind is that with the candlelight tour ticket you get a pass for the next day. So it%26#39;s more than just the one visit. The house by candlelight is special, and there are musicians playing. On weekends it is so crowded that you won%26#39;t be able to pause and listen to the audio tour, so that%26#39;s a minus. If you can go during the week, it%26#39;s much nicer.
