I%26#39;ve never seen that one. I thought I knew all of them. Did it state what road it was on?

It%26#39;s out on Big Cove Rd. past Mingo Falls.

Here%26#39;s a map.

the campground is not bad but if you have pets don%26#39;t stay there, they charge extra. they also charge extra for more than one vehicle and for more than 4 people. My families spot is the Happy Holiday campground and rv, this campground is surrounded by two creeks and has its own pond for fishing, plus a nice swimming pool and acrade room plus cable hook ups and is pet friendly

I%26#39;m sure this is late, but I wanted to reply since we stay here every spring and fall to do some trout fishing. We bring our wives and kids on one of those trips, too. The kids absolutely love it here. Now, that doesn%26#39;t mean there is a huge resort campgrouond sitting there, but we aren%26#39;t up here for all of the activities you might get at the KOA Campground a little further downstream. We are looking for a quiet peaceful time of camping and fishing with family fun and activities.

It appears to be the furthest out campground from town in terms of Cherokee proper, and gives us a primitive feel. It is relatively quiet, though a road goes right throuogh it. The traffic is usually minimal, though. If you like fishing you can catch them right there in the creek by the campground. They do a good job of keeping the bathhouse clean. We%26#39;ve been going for 8 years and the friends we go with have been going there several years longer than that. It is a nice, simple campground. Nothing overly fancy, but it meets all of our needs. Full hook-ups, tents sites (some have water and/or electric), cabins for rent, and primitive camping are what you can get. I think the average family would enjoy it.
